I’ll be danged! Today I was perusing through a copy of Adams and Kelly Co. millwork catalog from 1908 that I found online. Lo! and behold, I found several items from our home. Apparently our front door was called the “Senator”. How important sounding is that? With the exception of the little decorative element in the middle of the first row of raised panels and the fact that the glass is beveled versus etched, it’s an exact match. (My kingdom to afford a period entry lockset!)

The fake fireplaces’ “summer fronts” match those in the catalog as well. The actual insert surround is different.

And our front parlor window matches exactly that given in the catalog.

Life is full of such small, simple pleasures…
