One of the pair of “medallions” for the foyer windows is complete. It’s a little rough looking in the photo just because it was left with raw edges to be joined with the larger window. It’s probably been two years since I worked in glass and I can tell that I’m not just a little but a LOT rusty. This 8×8 piece took nearly a full day to complete. Copper foil was the method I chose for assembly; I’m lousy at soldering copper foil. Again, it’s one of those skills that requires lots and lots of practice and I’ve had very little, comparatively speaking.

One more in mirror image to go and I can start on the windows themselves. I’m torn as to whether or not I should choose a different color scheme for the second window medallion or stay with this one…
