Phase II of my latest project is now set to begin. The sheetrock finally arrived today, but the rockers won’t able to start until tomorrow morning. Bummer. But the tile place called today and said the back-ordered items should be arriving by the end of the week. By the time the rocking is completed and I paint, it should coincide well with the tile installation.
In the meantime, I’ve completed all of the tiny details for the drywall install as well as stripping both the large window sash and the antique medicine cabinet. We won’t actually use it as a medicine cabinet, but rather extra storage. The cabinet came out of my in-laws’ old house nearly two decades ago; it’s been in storage ever since. It was a fright before but with all the paint removed, it looks very nice.
Now it’s time to finalize wall colors–definitely not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination.
